I love to draw portraits of people because it's apart of my style. There is just something interesting about drawing the corner of an eye or the curve on an ear. drawing faces feels natural to me and I want to experiment drawing different people from all over the world like Kehinde Wiley. Kehinde Wiley is my role model in art because of the extreme detail he puts in portraits. It's best to have a role model you look up to because it will have a positive effect on your art.
I love how one portrait can look so different then the next.
ReplyDeleteI always know which piece is yours because it is a portrait and always from the same angle. It's really awesome that you can make each of your pieces look so different while set up the same.
ReplyDeleteI like the second piece, the background is nicely done and the designs look nice
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing at portraits! Each one you create seems to have its own message or feeling behind it, and I think that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAll of your portraits are very unique in their own way. On this one, I like the way you included many different designs into the one portrait.
ReplyDeleteI like the tribal effect on your portrait.
ReplyDeleteIf i'm looking at this right i like how you took a normal picture that you made and then turned it into an abstract.
ReplyDeleteI love how different the two pictures look, but you can still tell they're the same. I love the colors used in the second one.
ReplyDeleteI like how you went from realistic to abstract, but the figure is still facing the same direction.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one it looks like a tribal Starbucks.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the colors used in this painting. The transition from realistic to abstract is interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely have a unique style i could easily recognize your style! I love the lower piece with the use of the blues it's really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love how the stylistic choices between each piece changes drastically. It really shows how much thought you put into it. It also shows that you didn't limit yourself. Great work!
ReplyDeleteYour style is really cool. I enjoy portrait pieces the most and yours always look really good. Love the tribal look on the abstract one.
ReplyDeleteI like that you took influence from the tribal background of your sketch and implemented it into final piece.
ReplyDeletelooks good nice work keep it up
ReplyDeletethe tribal influences is powerful in this piece
ReplyDeleteI like the shapes and patterns
ReplyDeleteI love your art style, and youre facial proportions are always on point.
ReplyDeleteLove the style of these. The hair that you did on the first one looks a bit incomplete though. I'm not sure if that's just your style but it looks cool
ReplyDeleteIn love with the second piece and the first is phenomenal as well. I would only push the values on the first piece, other than that Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI really like the abstract painting and I love how you transformed the first picture.
ReplyDeleteI like these pictures. Love how you but a tribal feel into the painting, but I love the artwork on top the most cause I love drawing.
ReplyDeleteI like where you are going with the abstract quality of this work. I don't see the Kehinde Wiley references, rather I see some refernces to the cubist artists Picasso, Braque, and Leger. It is very different from the work I am accustomed to seeing from you.
