I love to draw portraits of people because it's apart of my style. There is just something interesting about drawing the corner of an eye or the curve on an ear. drawing faces feels natural to me and I want to experiment drawing different people from all over the world like Kehinde Wiley. Kehinde Wiley is my role model in art because of the extreme detail he puts in portraits. It's best to have a role model you look up to because it will have a positive effect on your art.

  2. I always know which piece is yours because it is a portrait and always from the same angle. It's really awesome that you can make each of your pieces look so different while set up the same.

  4. You are amazing at portraits! Each one you create seems to have its own message or feeling behind it, and I think that is awesome!

  23. I like where you are going with the abstract quality of this work. I don't see the Kehinde Wiley references, rather I see some refernces to the cubist artists Picasso, Braque, and Leger. It is very different from the work I am accustomed to seeing from you.
